Unstoppable Summit

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2023

11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Check In begins at 10:30AM

The Asian Pacific Islander Student Success Center (APISSC) and the Pacific Islander Asian American Program (PIAA) proudly bring you the

2nd Annual Unstoppable Summit 2023.

Join us for an immersive student cultural and identity empowerment, wellness, and leadership experience where you can build community and network with other CSUEB students as well as faculty, staff, community leaders who are part of the Four Nations (air, water, earth, fire), and recognize the strengths within you to carry you through your college journey at Cal State East Bay and beyond.

This summit gathers students from different walks of life:

  • Current student leaders of registered clubs/orgs
  • Students who want to learn how to get involved on campus
  • Students who are: first-year, graduating, international, continuing, transfer
  • Students who identify as undocumented, LGBTQIA+, first/second-generation college students
  • Students looking for resources to evolve and be successful in college and in life

STATEMENT OF INCLUSIVITY FOR SUMMIT PARTICIPANTS AND THOSE INVOLVED:

This summit is a safe space for all colors, genders, and beliefs. We encourage participation from our Cal State East Bay Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian students.

You do not have to identify as Asian and/or Pacific Islander to participate and/or support this event.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all attendees, regardless of color, gender, belief, and immigration status. We firmly believe in celebrating diversity and promoting cultural understanding. To maintain the integrity of our event and ensure the comfort and safety of all participants, we do not tolerate any form of fetishization or objectification based on race, ethnicity, or any other characteristic. We also understand that undocumented students may face unique challenges and concerns, and we want to affirm that our institution and this summit is a safe space where all students are valued and protected.
